Star Card

I made these stars for my first attempt at Karen's Challenge, after playing around with them star's for some time they didn't seem to do much for me & I decided not to use them for this challenge. Still I liked the eyelet stars and didn't want to waste them so here is what became of them.

Started with Watercolouring Flowers

What better way to spend a wet Saturday than creating new cards.
I wanted to to used different colour's to what I normally do, I need to come out of my comfort zone. Ruby Red is a newest colour ink in my collection, so what better way to start.
This card started with watercolouring two flowers out of the Embrace life Stamp Set & grew from there. The photo is not the best & is doing nothing for this card, but it is to wet outside. The flowers are raised of the card again bad pic.

Used:  Cs: Very Vanilla, Ruby Red, Cameo Coral, Old Olive.  Stamps: Embrace Life, Sanded Background.  Ink:  Cameo Coral, Ruby Red, Garden Green, Basic Black.  Other: Jumbo Eyelets, Very Vanilla Ribbon,Word Window punch.

Another Note Book

I couldn't help myself I like my first note book, I have covered another one. This time I have used Outlaw paper I had in scraps. I made this one while talking to my sister on the phone so I think I will send it to her with a magnet stuck to the back to put on her fridge.

Used:  CS: Outlaw, Chocolate Chip, Old Olive.  Stamps: Wanted.  Ink: Chocolate Chip, Whisper White.  Other: Kraft, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon, Jumbo Eyelet. Star Punch.

Note book Made on Scraps

I always have one of these small note books in my car & I am a bit over looking at the ugly cover they have on them, so I have scraped this one up using the left over scraps from my best friend page. I think this is a big improvement on the ugly cover.

Used:  CS: Soft Sky, Afternoon Tea, Wild Wasabi. Stamps: Lovely Labels, Baroque Border.  Ink: VersaMark, Chocolate Chip.  Other: Ribbon Chocolate Chip, Wild Wasabi, Soft Sky.

Best Friends

Time to do some scrapbooking, I was up to date with my kids in scrapbooking and then I was introduced to Stampin' Up!
So now I am back into the scrapbooking & taking my time to catch back up.
My daughter Michaela took this photo of her brother and sister last year, it would have to been one of my favourite photo of them.
I don't have Wild Wasabi in the ink pad so I have used Always Artichoke ink on the large flower, it did go a bit darker than I wanted.

Used:   CS: Soft Sky, Wild Wasabi, Afternoon Tea.  Stamps:Live Your Dreams, Garden Whimsy.  Ink: Always Artichoke, VersaMark.  Other: Stampin' Pastels, Wild Wasabi Ribbon, Pretties Kit, Urban West Rub-ons.
