Inkspirations Sketch Challenge # 8

This is my entry into Makeesha's Inkspiration Sketch Challenge #8. I have done something a little different this challenge, I have entered a 6x6 scrapbook page. While in Canberra at this years convention I went with the girls to a chocolate shop called KOKO BLACK CHOCOLATE I am sure most of you know what shop I am talking about and found your way to this little place of happiness. I took the photo when I got home with intent to use it in a journal of favourite things, but with all the scraping I have been doing this week I wanted to keep with the flow & this picture was perfect for this sketch challenge.

This may be my last entry for a while as I back to study again tomorrow & something has to give.

6x6 Scrapbooking page 3

This photo is the same photo I used of my daughter in the 12x12 page a few post down, I think it shows how different you can make a page look with using the same photo. This page took me 10 minutes to complete & again simple but effective. The 3 6x6 pagers shown have all used the Patterns Pack 11 Designer Series Paper (Hostess level1) I hope by showing these pagers it shows just how great this pad is.

Used:  CS: Old Olive, Whisper White, Regal Rose & Basic Gray Patterns Pack11 DSP.  Stamps: Trendy Trees, Embrace Life.  Ink: Old Olive, Close to Cocoa, Basic Gray.  Accessories: Regal Rose Grosgrain Ribbon.

6x6 Scrapbooking page 2

This my daughter having a pony ride & I really feel for this poor pony, I love how she could almost ride with her feet on the ground. I love Build-a-Brads they are great I think I am going to go through a lot of these. I have covered the On Board Chipboard with CS and then added the Build-a-Brad on top. I like to keep my 6x6 pages simple and uncomplicated I think that less is more sometimes & these pagers are great for parents who don't live near & miss out on grand kids growing up.

Used:  CS: Brocade Blue, Old Olive, Whisper White, Hostess Level1 Patterns Pack 11 Brocade Blue.  Stamps: Embrace Life, Season of Joy.  Ink: Basic Gray, Brocade Blue.  Accessories: Build-a-Brad, On Board Timeless Type.

6x6 Scrapbooking

This is my 6x6 scard, it is a cross between a scrapbooking page & card. I normally scrap pictures of my kids like most others, but this is something different for me.  As I started to scrap the bird house it took on a life of it's own and to me looks part scrapbook page and part card so it is my scard, it doesn't have any journaling but I love this picture, it has a greeting and looks kind of like the front of a card has that card feel about it to me anyway.
I have been working on a few 6x6 pages and I will post them over the next few days.

Used:  CS: Basic Black, Whisper White, Old Olive, Regal Rose patterns Pack 11 Designer Series Paper (Hostess Level1).  Stamps: Good Friend, Short & Sweet.  Ink: Chocolate Chip, Basic Gray, Old Olive, Baja Breeze.  Accessories: Old Olive, Basic Black Grosgrain Ribbon, Button Bouquet Kiwi Kiss, Black Brad.
